The House Ways and Means Committee just released a proposal to significantly reform the current Federal Income Tax Code, including shrinking the number of tax brackets down to only two. In 1986, the Code was 26,000 pages; it has since grown to over 70,000. Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp has proposed drastic changes.
